How does rent to own work?
Choose an eligible car, make a one-time down payment toward ownership, then pay weekly for its set term. Once you complete the term, the title is yours, free and clear — no balloon payment or final buyout.

Rent to own is for drivers who spend a lot of time renting and want to save for a car. It gives you the opportunity to put money toward a vehicle while renting one, so you can keep driving while working toward ownership.

Weekly rental ≠ rent to own
Regular weekly rental
Pay the weekly rental rate shown on the car. No deposit is required. You are renting the vehicle, not working toward title ownership.
Rent to own
Choose the ownership option and make the down payment to begin. It counts toward owning the car and is not refundable like a deposit. Continue the weekly payments for the agreed term.

Apply and review the agreement
Submit your details on the vehicle page and complete the rental agreement in the next step. Tell us you want rent to own, and confirm the terms with us before signing.

Begin rent to own and pay weekly
Make the one-time down payment toward ownership and pay the weekly amount for the car's stated term. Pickup is in Winter Garden, available 24/7 once your rental is set up.
- 04
Complete the term and receive the title
Finish the agreed rent-to-own term and we hand you the title, free and clear. No balloon payment or final buyout.

Rent-to-own questions
- Do I need $500 down just to rent weekly?
- No. Standard weekly gig rentals have no deposit. The Camry's $500 down payment only applies when you choose to begin rent to own. A regular weekly rental does not automatically make you the owner.
- Is the down payment refundable?
- No. It is a one-time payment toward owning the car, not a refundable rental deposit.
- What happens at the end of the term?
- Complete the rent-to-own term and the title is yours, free and clear. There is no balloon payment or final buyout.
- Are all gig rental cars rent-to-own eligible?
- No. Look for the Rent to Own Eligible badge. The weekly price, down payment and term are specific to the car; check its page before applying.
- Can I request a booked or coming-soon car?
- Yes. Your enquiry is about future availability, not a confirmed booking or immediate pickup. We will contact you before the car is ready.
- What if I need to stop early or miss a payment?
